DESCRIPTION END-OF-LIFE CARE: A Manual for Social Work Students and Practitioners
This manual was developed to encourage and educate social work students and practitioners about end-of-life issues and the care provided in the hospice setting. Focus groups and experienced professionals provided direction in determining the content and resources. Social workers, with their comprehensive focus on biological, psychological and social issues, are in an ideal position to assist and support those diagnosed with a life threatening illness and their families.
